  1. When I read the question the first name that came to mind was Edgar Allen Poe. I have no idea why! As I pondered (weak and weary ha ha!) on the question further I have to say he’d make an excellent ghost. He was pretty creepy alive, imagine how he must be dead?? Maybe he might pass on some writing that he didn’t get to do when he was alive too…that’d be pretty nice.

  2. When I read the question, the first answer that came to mind was my grandfather. Then I thought well maybe I should pick someone famous. But no, I will stick to my orginal answer. There is no one I would rather see.

  3. I would want to see my grandmother since I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. Then I could tell her about my children (if I win they get the prize)

  4. If I could see a ghost I would want to see my father. He passed away over four years ago and I still miss him. I still dream about him. The other night I dreamed he came back… from Hawaii. I guess I still can’t believe he is really gone. I am going through a difficult time right now (financially, physically, emotionally) and Dad was always my strong support. I sure could use his support right now.

  5. I think I would like to have a chat with Terry Fox if I were to see a ghost. He has been such a huge Canadian icon and I remember cheering him on as he ran down the street past my elementary school when I was young. I would tell him how much his efforts have helped in fighting cancer and raising awareness.

  7. I would like to see the ghost of my mother. I miss her very much and would really enjoy a chance to talk to her again and hear her laugh.

  8. My son says he would want the ghost to be Leo Tolstoy so he would have a chance to meet him, and since he is Russian, another reason ( son is currently addicted to all things Russian) He would like to ask him questions as to how they lived in that time and all things Russian.

He could use the bag to use in his travels in the future to Russia…

  9. I would like to see a ghost of anything; however, I would like to see said ghost at an unexpected time. I think the thrill of seeing something unknown at an undecided time (and that sudden feeling of shock and surprise) trumps any person, whether famour or not.

  10. I would love to meet Shakespeare’s ghost. I have a lot of questions, like, “did you really write all those plays?”

  11. I would like to see La Llorona because there is a big debate at the elementary school where I work whether she is real or not. It would be nice to solve the debate–plus the kids would think I was really cool to have survived meeting her!

  12. I would like to meet the ghost of my g,g,g,great grandfather. No one in our family knows who he was. It would be so wonderful to know the origins of my family, who we were and where we came from.

  14. I would love to see Edgar Allen Poe. Got to see Poe House this summer and have so many questions for him! Not to mention I love his work.

  15. Right now I would say it would be my Mom so I could tell her how much I appreciated her as a Mom because I didn’t get a chance to tell her when she was alive. Also so I could show her the wonderful little hellions she has as grandchildren. She never got to meet them and I think she would get a kick on how much stress they put me through ; 0
