Tundra is the acclaimed publisher of unique books for children of all ages. We are committed to telling important stories to children in interesting and engaging ways. Our books are award-winners, known for their literary merit and artistic integrity. Some of our earliest titles are still in print and we continue to celebrate their success while reaching to the future with exciting new acquisitions.
Founded over forty-nine years ago, Tundra is Canada’s oldest children’s book publisher. In 2012 we were acquired by Random House of Canada. We offer our authors the benefits of working with a small house—which include close and responsive editorial guidance—with a big house infrastructure that drives sales and marketing efforts, online promotion, digital support, and top-notch distribution.
Our future lists include works by well-known musicians; exceptional individuals keen to share experiences that are simply out of this world; and many superb titles by dynamic authors and illustrators, all working with us to create the very best books for children.
